Michael Kingston is the architect of the modern wrestling comics scene as the creative force behind Headlocked Comics. He released the first issue of his critically acclaimed graphic novel series Headlocked in 2008, and has since collaborated with over fifty wrestlers on stories and art—from Hall of Famers like Mick Foley and Trish Stratus, and Sgt. Slaughter to current stars like Cody Rhodes, Penta, and Danhausen. He is best known for Headlocked, Tales from the Road, WWE, Vampiro: Rockabilly Apocalypse (winner of 2024’s Best Debut), and Friday Night Bigfoot (w/ Gangrel).
